Born in 1963 in Ankara, Melih Özkan graduated from TED college and he studied economics at Gazi University. In 1985, he went to USA and studied management at Woodburry University, California and completed his master's degree in executive management at Thunderbird Graduate School, Arizona. 

Between 1990-2005, he worked as manager at Coca-Cola and Philip Morris. In 2005, he established a real estate company named  AIM Property Development at Moscow. Since then, he's been still working as the founding partner and the chairman of the board of AIM. 

They are currently building OZ Mall at Karsnodar, which is one of the biggest malls of Russia. OZ will be opened in the final quarter of this year with its 165.000 m² area for rent.
